11 Best Vegan Brownie Mixes – Item by Item
In this section, I go through each of my 11 picks for the best vegan brownie mixes listed above.
A lot of the below mixes require eggs to make the brownies. There are a few alternatives to this – mashed banana is a popular one, as well as apple sauce or silken tofu. One brand listed below even suggests using blended canned white beans.
Remember where an egg is suggested you can always use a vegan egg replacer such as this one from Namaste, which can be brought on from Amazon here, or create a “flax vegan egg” yourself.
Yes, it has not gone over my head that many of these mixes proudly proclaimed the fact they are vegan whilst the instructions on the packet say you need an egg to make the mix. But here we are.
1. Snacktivist Foods
First up on this list – is a vegan and gluten-free brownie mix from Snacktivist. This vegan brownie mix uses a superfood flour blend as its base, consisting of brown rice, millet, ivory teff, sorghum, and sweet brown rice. Superfood, vegan, and brownie – all in one sentence. Love!
Just make sure to use vegan butter when making these brownies.
You can try them from Amazon here.
2. King Arthur, Gluten Free Fudge Brownie Mix
Next up is another vegan and gluten-free brownie mix. This time from King Arthur. This mix is made from premium cocoa, is “rich and fudgy” and comes from a company that is 100% employee-owned.
You can try it from Amazon here.
Just make sure to use vegan butter and an egg alternative when mixing to ensure your final brownies are vegan.
3. Miss Jones Baking Organic Fudge Brownie Mix
If you are looking for an organic vegan brownie mix, then this one from Miss Jones could fit the bill. I also love the fact this mix consists of just 6 ingredients. Just make sure to use an egg substitute when making.
You can find it on Amazon here.
I have talked about Miss Jones before in the post I wrote on the best vegan cake frostings – 14 of The All-Time Best Vegan Cake Frostings.
4. Renewal Mill Dark Chocolate Brownie
What makes this vegan brownie mix from Renewal so special? Well, it is made from upcycled ingredients. This means you are helping reduce global food waste whilst enjoying a vegan brownie.
If that’s not a win-win I don’t know what is.
I also love the fact that the two ingredients required to make the brownies are already vegan – hot water and vegetable oil.
You can try this awesome brownie mix from Amazon here.
5. ZenSweet Fudge Brownie & Chocolate Cake Mix
If a vegan, keto, and no-sugar-added brownie mix is what you are after then look no further than ZenSweet. This vegan brownie is sweetened with monk fruit and has the added benefit of being gluten-free.
You will require some kind of egg replacement to ensure the resulting brownies are vegan. You can try this brownie mix from Amazon here.
6. Partake Foods Vegan Brownie Mix
This brownie mix from Partake is free of the top 9 allergens and is also kosher. I also love the fact you only need water and oil to make these awesome brownies.
You can try this mix from Amazon here.
7. PB2 Pantry Chocolate Chip Brownie Mix
One of the things that makes this vegan brownie mix from PB2 special is the fact that it contains 4g of protein per brownie, it contains peanut powder, and chocolate chips. I also love the fact that there is a vegan recipe on the back as well as the non-vegan one.
They suggest using half a banana in place of eggs.
You can try this mix from Amazon here.
8. Pyure Organic Chocolate Brownie Mix
Next up is another low-carb, keto, and vegan brownie mix, this time from Pyure. This mix is also sugar-free and organic. Just make sure to use an egg replacement when making.
You can try it from Amazon here.
9. Creative Nature Cacao Rich Vegan Chocolate Brownie Baking Mix
This brownie mix from Creative Nature is Chia and Cacao Chic Chip flavor – yum! It is made in the UK and is free of the top 14 allergens. Just make sure to use an egg replacement when making.
You can try this mix from Amazon here.
10. TruEats Brownie Mix
This brownie mix from TruEats is not only vegan but also protein and fiber-rich. You have got to love a functional vegan brownie.
This mix also does not contain any added sugar and is instead sweetened with monk fruit.
You can try TruEats brownie mix from Amazon here.
Just make sure to use an egg alternative when making this brownie mix.
11. Better Batter Brownie Mix
Lastly, this vegan mix from Better Batter is free from the top 8 allergens, is kosher, and of course vegan (or else it wouldn’t have made it into this list).
What I found fascinating when looking at this product is they suggest using white beans from a can instead of egg to make vegan brownies. Genius.

11 Best Vegan Brownie Mixes You Need To Try – The Final Sip
Best vegan brownie mixes. Let’s start with the good news. If you are vegan, you can still eat brownies. Woo hoo – happy dance. The not-so-great news is that you may have to make the brownies yourself to make sure they are vegan. However, there are plenty of vegan brownie mixes available to buy from grocery stores and online. The main thing to watch out for when choosing your brownie mix is any added ingredients specified in the instructions. Often “vegan” brownie mixes will require an egg to be added. This isn’t a huge issue, as you can make or buy a vegan egg replacement in advance. Just something to watch out for. If you want to avoid the whole “vegan egg thing” pick a brownie mix that will not require it as a mix-in such as the Renewal Mill Brownie Mix (entry no 4) or Partake Foods Brownie Mix (entry no 6).

…now you know.
