The Best Vegan Wine Subscriptions and Vegan Wine Gifts

Vegan Wine Subscriptions – in this post I wanted to talk about the best vegan wine subscription services available online (also known as “wine clubs”). Specifically, I am going to be looking at the best vegan wine club subscriptions and detailing their prices, subscription tiers, and vegan wines on offer. I will also list the Vegan Wine Gift options available from each service if you are interested in purchasing vegan wine for someone as a gift. To help make it as easy as possible I have provided a separate summary table for both vegan wine subscriptions and vegan wine gifts.

What are Wine Subscriptions and Wine Clubs?

Vegan wine clubs or memberships are great. These are the services that let you pay reoccurring monthly (or similar) fees to receive a selection of wines to be delivered to your door, or a one-off fee to receive a one-off selection of wines straight to your door.

Wine subscriptions can be awesome because they let you choose exactly the types of wines you want (…vegan) rather than rely on what vegan wines may or may not be available at your local grocery or liquor store. They also often include vegan wines which you won’t normally be able to find from local providers giving greater choice, variety, and selection. And let’s face it – what is better than clicking once and having wine delivered straight to your door? But first, what exactly is available for vegan wine subscriptions?

Best Vegan Wine Subscriptions

There are a number of wine clubs that are able to deliver vegan wine as part of their subscriptions. Some of these wine clubs only stock vegan wines, whilst others are not exclusively vegan but are able to send out vegan wine-only deliveries. All of these wine clubs also have vegan wine gifts available.

*I have included the pricing of each of the wine club subscription plans below, to give you an idea of the pricing, but be aware that the pricing is at the time of writing and may have changed since.

Vegan Wine Subscriptions - Wine Club

Vegan Wine Subscriptions and Vegan Wine Gifts – Item-by-Item

In this section, I will break down each wine subscription site listed in the table above. For each subscription service, I will include details of what subscription plans are available, what you get, pricing, vegan status, and what the gift option is if you want to gift them. As I mentioned above, not all sites are completely vegan, but all offer vegan wines.

1. Veganwines.com

Vegan Status: Everything (from wine to cheese) at veganwines.com is 100% vegan.

The first entry is from veganwines.com – a 100% vegan wine subscription service (if you couldn’t tell from the name already). Veganwines.com offers subscription boxes of vegan wines which include complimentary tasting notes and plant-based pairing notes. Something which I thought was a nice personal touch.

They also have the option to add vegan cheeses with subscriptions and deliveries. For a small amount extra your quarterly wine delivery can include three wheels of cheese that have been specially selected to pair with your wines. Again, I just thought this was a nice addition though, and shows much thought veganwines.com has put into making this a completely vegan wine-tasting experience.

Veganwines.com Membership Options

You can find details on Veganwines.com membership plans here (which they refer to as “wine clubs”). Below is a breakdown of the different tiers:

I have mentioned Frey Wines several times before here at Vegan Bev HQ (for example, in my post about vegan and organic wine – see Best Vegan Organic Wines (And How To Know What To Look For) as well as my post about the best vegan red wines – 13 Of The Best Vegan Red Wines By Grape Varieties). This is for good reason – all their wines are vegan and USDA Certified Organic.  Even better you can sign up for their wine club and get this organic vegan vino delivered to your door three times a year.

Vegan Status – How to find vegan wines on Nakedwine.com? Simple – just type vegan into the search bar and a list of wines that are vegan will come up (just double-check it has the little leaf “vegan” symbol under in its description).

Naked Wines works a bit differently from the other wine clubs on this list. Naked wines essentially sell a reoccurring wine membership to its members (which they call its angels). This membership costs $40 per month and it goes towards credit you can spend on Naked Wines. You also get a gift bottle of wine every month (which you get when you order a case). Just remember to order the wine each month after you get the credit.

Naked Wines Membership

Organic wine exchange is an amazing wine company. They even have a specific vegan wine club. All wines in the vegan wine club are certified vegan (it’s super unusual to find vegan certified wines so this is great). The wines are also organic (either USDA Organic Certified or made from organically grown grapes).

Obvious Wines Membership Plans

Obvious Wines do not do membership, but like Avaline above, you can purchase a one-off delivery or a selection of their wines. Their wine pack “(Almost) The Whole Collection)” comes in at $122 and includes 6 unique wines made up of 2 Reds, 2 Whites, 1 Rosé, and 1 Sparkling Après Sol. You can find Obvious Wines packs here.

Vegan Wine Subscriptions - Wine Club and subscription

Vegan Wine Subscriptions and Vegan Wine Gifts – The Final Sip

Vegan Wine Subscriptions – what have I learned from this article today? Well, I have learned that there are a whole bunch of vegan wine subscription services available – the prices of which vary a lot. Yes, vegan wine subscriptions are not the cheapest options when it comes to selecting some vegan wines (if you want that I have you covered in my post: The Best Cheap Vegan Wines Under $5). The difference with “Wine Clubs” is the variety and choice you get. If you are looking to try new wines or wines you just won’t be able to find in the grocery store then a wine subscription is a great thing to have.

The problem with grocery stores or liquor stores – I personally find – is the same old choice and the impossibility of trying to figure out what is vegan and what isn’t. Wine clubs let you try new things. Especially services like Winc which constantly tailors and recommends different wines each month. On the flip side, if you are looking for a vegan gift then what would be better than a gift of a vegan wine club? I know I would be taken aback if someone gifted me a vegan wine club. It is something unique and special. Worst case scenario you can always cancel your subscription if you don’t want it anymore. In any event, at least the wine you will be drinking will be vegan.

…and just remember the first rule of “wine club” is to drink wine. The second rule of “fight club“, sorry “wine club” is to drink wine.

Vegan Wine Subscriptions

…now you know.
